Where can I find more information about Cal Fire?
Visit About to learn about our values and organization, and strategic plans. You'll also find resources.
Where can I get a campfire permit? Is there a fee?

You can get a campfire permit from any CAL FIRE facility, the US Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management or online at www.PreventWildfireCA.org. There is no fee for the permit, but you must go to one of these facilities to pick up and fill out the permit.

Where can I get tree seedlings?

CAL FIRE has closed the Magalia Reforestation Center in Butte County as of June 30, 2011 due to ongoing state budget reductions. This closure has suspended for the foreseeable future CAL FIRE's bare root seedling production. You can purchase tree seedlings from the Arbor Day Foundation or by contacting your local nursery.
