Governor Brown Announces Appointments

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointments:

Dana Hollinger, 58, of Beverly Hills, has been reappointed to the California Public Employees’ Retirement System Board of Administration, where she has been chair of the Risk and Audit Committee since 2017, vice chair of the Finance and Administration Committee since 2016 and has served as a member since 2014. She has been principal at the Dana Hollinger Group since 2007. Hollinger is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network Business Ethics Committee, founding board member at the Women’s Leadership Group in Los Angeles and was a member of the Women’s Leadership Board at the Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government from 2002 to 2014. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Southwestern University School of Law. This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. Hollinger is registered without party preference.

Ricardo Cano, 54, of Altadena, has been appointed to the Klamath River Renewal Corporation Board of Directors. He has been project director at Element Consulting Inc. since 2016. Cano was a project director at Kitchell CEM from 2014 to 2016 and development manager at RMA Construction Management Services from 2004 to 2013. Cano was vice president and project manager at Del Terra from 1999 to 2004 and senior business consultant at Arthur Andersen from 1991 to 1999. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America and the Project Management Institute. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Cano is a Democrat.
