UPDATED: Governor Brown to Discuss California’s Nation-Leading Action on Climate Change at Events in Los Angeles Today

LOS ANGELES – After announcing executive action earlier this morning to establish the most ambitious greenhouse gas reduction target in North America – 40 percent below 1990 levels by 2030 – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will deliver remarks at the “Navigating the American Carbon World” event and later join Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León at the 18th annual Milken Institute Global Conference for a discussion moderated by Michael Milken on California’s climate leadership.
