SAN JOSE – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will join Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson, National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils chairman Jake Steinfeld and Katherine Smith Elementary School officials tomorrow at the ribbon-cutting for the school’s new fitness center, awarded by the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils for demonstrating new and innovative ways to promote student physical activity.
