Live Help is a service that allows you to ask a CA.gov operator to help you find information that is available at a CA.gov website. The operator will direct you to the appropriate CA.gov website or may provide a phone number of a state agency contact who will be able to help you.

You can chat with a CA.gov operator Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. 

Please be aware that your communication with the CA.gov operator is not secure. Do not include in your chat any information that could personally identify you such as a credit card number, social security number, etc. For further information, please read our Conditions of Use policy.

The chat program uses popup windows. You may need to disable popup window blocking in order to use the service.
